The Accellix software development team is looking to recruit an algorithms engineer. The candidate should bring to the table relevant experience, enthusiasm for having a tangible impact on cell therapy, and a collaborative and down-to-earth attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate automated data analysis
  • Maintain current algorithms and software
  • Automation of manufacturing process
  • Present updates on projects and initiate brainstorming/troubleshooting discussions within the team and to external customer audiences
  • Promote a strong working relationship with other team members, facilitate open communication, proactively identify, and address issues, and support other team members to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities

Required Qualifications

  • Bs.c in Electrical engineering/Physics/Math/Computer Science/Computational Biology (M.Sc./Ph.D. is an advantage)
  • Excellent coding skills with at least 5 years of experience in Python or R
  • 3+ year of Hands-on algorithm and software development experience
  • Experience with product development and/or instrument automation in an industry setting
  • Experience with modeling physical process
  • Proven ability to analyze, model, and interpret data
  • Broad knowledge of algorithms and analysis tools and methods
  • Experience with the development of Deep Learning/Machine Learning
  • Proven experience in algorithm development and innovations in the fields of CV and ML
  • Experience with good documentation practices (GDP)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet goals in a timely fashion, communicate delays and escalate challenges immediately.
  • Experienced with: GIT and databases
  • Strong math background, especially in Linear algebra
  • Prepared to be highly engaged, both within the team and within the company
  • Excellent communication skills in English
